CAT7 seems a bit overkill? So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/38561-cctv-setup-suggestion/page/3/#findComment-419515 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 1, 201510 yr Author comment_419539 Looking at the price of CAT 7 seems like it is I'll go for CAT 6. DS-2CD2020-I cameras and DS-7608NI-E2/A NVR is this kit any better or is that pants too? June 2, 201510 yr Author comment_419746 http://www.cctvempire.co.uk/DS-2CD2022-I Would that be genuine? Another question, currently all my switches, router and everything that's wired to it are gigabit as I do a lot of video streaming, backing up etc. between NAS, TV's, mobiles and laptops. Would plugging in 4 100mb IP cams over 2 switches run the whole network at 100mb?
