Pac Access Control Reader, Anti-Tamper / Vandal Screws Help

Featured Replies

Hey all, long story short has anyone manged to remove the anti-tamper  / vandal screws from a PAC reader with anything other than there stupid screwdriver which costs £65

Got a site where we're doing some works with the door / window company refitting and re-wiring a couple of strikes and this has cropped up that all we need to do is move this reader but can even get the cover off

Any suggestions all

cheers

Link for tool you need or picture? Must be cheaper somewhere or is it specialised , as I don't know the reader

It's proprietary so is designed for you to buy there special '1950' screwdriver.

thats it mate, designed it such a way that only that driver can open it so it keep it more secure in a way - their words

I said thats only good if people use your equipment as they force you to buy this part at a such high price
