I did that for a while, but... firstly it's a bitch to take apart, and one of these days the switch is going to break and I still can't work out how they got it in the casing...

Secondly the last battery like that now has the green furry stuff around the terminals so just wanted to try these carbon batts if anything.

It's funny the only reference to them on t'internet is in terms of 2v traction type batteries for use with solar. Whoever was wanging them into 7aH and similar

shapes has clearly stopped bothering... RS even seem to have cleansed away their original press release about them!

It'll be a Yucell anyway, not using the proper ones ;)

It's this one btw - https://clulite.cluson.co.uk/smartlite-range/2-sm126-smartlite-technically-advanced.html

is rebadged Chinky tat, the one Ive got is very much UK made even the lens is glass with their logo on it etc...

No, just stop interfering with the horses and you'll be fine.

* the clulites are top banana, used by the professionals for stalking, traping etc. Not cheap by any means but most parts are repairable and they are British iirc.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Yeah they are, this one is...
