FalconSecurity
I have a galaxy flex control panel and would like to protect a new office cabin in the garden. Was not sure best route to go - either in install the RF module in the panel and wireless detectors or use direct burial cable directly and normal wired sensors. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Emzy89
I would recommend going wireless to prevent wires being present in your garden. Also if the wires become damaged your office cabin may no longer be secure. datadiffusion
Yup, and if the cable gets damaged, the alarm will be sure to inform you! So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/37543-protection-of-cabin-and-shed/#findComment-403637 Share on other sites

AlarmScot
True.... I would recommend the opposite as per JW. Wired over wireless. Depends on far away the Cabin and Shed are from Control Unit on wireless and wired unit. Plus what is in your shed that you want to secure it? Chopper81
Id try and get a duct grade cat 5 or 2 across and have a rio and rkp in the office. Bringing 2 would give you a second chance should 1 become faulty or maybe you could add an ip camera at a later stage networked over your home lan Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/37543-protection-of-cabin-and-shed/#findComment-405055 Share on other sites
