Ronnie
Am I right in thinking Honeywell have put the flex into a metal end station now?
al-yeti
Hope so dont like the plastic box, maybe they giving a free external antenna for the rf card?
GalaxyGuy
Hope so dont like the plastic box, maybe they giving a free external antenna for the rf card? Â No, it's the G2 metal box, and the modules don't have connectors, so you'd have to fit externally like with the G2.
matthew.brough
I think a nice metal box with the rf built in would be a nice option Quote www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
GalaxyGuy
The latest preso from Honeywell shows the Flex positioned for price under the G2-20, but still above the G2-12 as there is no 12 zone flex. Since there's little need for >12 zones for a majority of domestic installs, then I'm not sure why they don't just create a 12 zone Flex. The good thing I suppose is that their roadmap shows the G2 series continuing out past 2015, so the lower cost G2-12 will continue to be available. Show the mentality..  most answers are with radio in mind..  I'm thinking about it as purely a wired panel.
matthew.brough
I've seen it done. Rf portals taken out of the plastic case and put inside the metal panel for neatness. Some strange reason they do it with rios as well. Quote www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
