paul44
Hi all, im looking to buy some test kit for doing minor works for fused spurs etc. Just wondering what other engineers are using as they are bloody expensive and most do stuff that only a spark would need. Rulland
Get one that does all the required tests as per BS7671 for circuits you have added/modified. Some testers have additional features such as 'auto rcd' and 'ramp' etc, but if it's for just basic use then a basic 17th edition multifunction or equivalent would suffice. PSE
I use the Megger MFT 1720, Get my certificates books direct from the NICEIC website, they are good quality ones
Rulland
I do my certs using the NICEIC online facility, uses drop down boxes to select everything, and it's only £1 a pop, informs building control etc, and sends cert directly to client via email if you want.
