Texecom Premier Elite 12-W Problems

Featured Replies

Hi everyone ,,,,hope some one can help ..
I am a napit approved Part P electrician who now fits alarms to help supplement my income .
I have been fitting alarms on and off for over a year now and I had no idea how much knowledge you guys need to be able to fit alarms .
So Hats off to you guys .
I bought aTexecom 12-w panel with RMK new in box .
1 Richochet pir -w, 1 shock/door impaq-w.
4 hard wired zones.
the 4 hard wired zones all fitted with resistors(no zones used ) ..
tamp for these zone fitted resistor .
bell/tamp fitted resistor .No bell box fitted Yet ).Bell-Tamper
I am using Ricoshet zones 9 for impaq/door and zone 10 for pir .
I put the panel tamper on hold so it would not keep giving alarm.

When I power up panel it goes into alarm .
rkp shows these messages .

System Alert
zone 1234 in tamper
bell tamper
Call ARC Center.
Area needs reset.
when I put enginer code in it stop alarm but Service light comes on..
Any help really would be appreciated

Shouldn't the bell tamp just be a link. Plus what resistors have you used

Zones still prog'd as double pole.

Digi prog needed.

Take it you dont have your lappy connected using udl.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

Zones do not need to be linked out.

You have to program the system using the Engineering Menus.

Bell tamper is a 0V link.

bell tamper now not showin due to neg to tmps link.

I am not sure how to program the system from eng/util to link them out ..

Many thanks to you

Your posts makes no sense. I'm assuming you mean you have a bell tamper and aux tamper showing on the panel and want to know how to disable them both through the keypad?
