Guest RICHL Posted September 13, 2004 Share Posted September 13, 2004 I charge £70.00 + parts as its usually enough to make people think "we''ll call you in the morning". £100.00 might be taking the piss - could you honestly charge that?! Tricky area this though, because if you start doing call outs for non-contract customers, then once you've got your bones out of bed and into the van they usually ring back and say "dont bother we've got someone cheaper". Also how do you know they will pay? They have all the legal protection, you have naff all. So they have to REALLY despartate, ie. begging, for me to think about going.
