matthew.brough
Just fitted one of these http://www.staywell.co.uk/Intl/UK/Products/Pet-Porte-Smart-Flap/Microchip-Smart-Flap-Wall-Mount-White Great gizmo. It only lets the cat in if its microchip is loaded into the memory keeping everyone else's cats out. The only issue is it needs permanent 12v supply to it. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
sixwheeledbeast
Let's hope cat burglars haven't learned how to clone microchips yet. Any relay outputs on it for alarm integration?
matthew.brough
You could easily rig it to relays. Hope cg doesn't work out how to clone cat chips or I'm stuffed. The only downside is the 12v requirement as it was horrid to install and conceal the cables. Other than that great product. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman
Always had you down as a cat man. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
matthew.brough
Much prefer dogs. Getting the cat wasn't my decision but I've grown to like her and we kept one if her kittens who is a great character. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

matthew.brough
I've come across a slight issue. The cat gets in fine but the kitten isn't tall enough for the scanner to read his chip so it locked him out in the pouring rain for a few hours.
