October 16, 201312 yr comment_349289 We have a customer with a samsung ptz installed that keeps displaying walls of uninterpretable text over the video. I've tried factory defaulting it and its still playing up. Any ideas? I'm thinking faulty unit but haven't been able to get in touch with samsung yet. November 17, 201312 yr Author comment_354697 yup, after this we'll no longer be using samsung stuff.the problem turned out to be noise on the data line coming from the wireless link... although data noise resulting in text all over the image is stupid! luckily, the customer decided to just put a conduit from the camera pole to the house and now all is working beautifully... good riddance! i hate (cheap) wireless stuff!
