Seems everyone is assuming without the facts, what's the old saying, to assume makes an ass out of u and me?

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

O/P service doc states 7amp being replaced annually, while the 1st scanny wireless detectors had 2 pp3 batts, and lucky to last 3 months, yet to see a wireless detector with ono of those 7amp suckers installed inside it?
