No luck? Do I need to put the lid back on for it to take effect? the nvm isn't locked because I loaded defaults several times whilst setting it up

Think this maybe an exception as I bought it and set it up.

Or default it and start from stratch.

And make a mental note of the programmed engineer code for future 'engineers' problems!, lol.

My washing machine is making this horrible knocking noise at the moment, it's driving us all mad..  Think I'll call Hotpoint tomorrow as I haven't got a clue what I 'm doing with it..

Don't be daft. Get on the hotpoint forum and their engineers will tell how to do it for nowt and then you can save the call out charge.
