We are a company who supply and install CCTV systems to our clients, among other products. 

 

We are looking for a universal DVR CMS software (for  DVR's connected to the internet). All the DVR's that we supply have their own CMS software, however we usually encounter customers who have more than 1 brand of DVR's in  their difeerent premises and want one software to manage all the DVR's. The software would be mainly used for live viewing, playback and sometimes off site recording. 

 

Does anyone recommend any particular software? 

Sell them a new dvr ?

I've yet to find one that does all DVRs

Yes that is usually the answer, but the client is not always ready to buy a new DVR especially if the DVR in question had been recently installed.

Looks good and will ask them for a quote, but this seems like too professional for a small company with a couple of retail outlets. Will continue searching and if I find anything else will post here. 

To be fair, we don't see that many variants of DVRs, also tend not to network DVRs that we don't supply.

I'd assume it cheaper to replace all the unit for a common type thanbuy in 3rd party software to integrate them ?

Probably it is. But will wait for the quote and see.
