Has the alarm its own isolation from the fuse box?

If ADT have quoted 2k then why not quote your own system then both customer and you will be happy. Check her insurance though as they might need a graded system to comply.

i also dont see adt themselves saying that a dealer yes. Not sure on the number in post though.

Agreed, especially as they are pushing that wireless system for little more than the cost of a night out at the cinema. No one in their right mind would pay 2k when they see on ADT's website a complete system for £99

I guess it depends on the definition of complete system, no details have been posted on what is currently installed, and £99 does not get you much

I think the base kit is 2 pir's and a door contact which agreed isn't much. Not sure how much they charge for additional pirs.

 

Not trying to promote le Secure but I can understand why people go for it with the price tag attached.
