So RFI is AN issue for range and interference. Induction is an issue, what ever you say and has been proven here. I agree the OP`s situation is none of the above. And next time, I won`t eat your toast. 2011 -2012 fitted 400 plus detectors (not even the expensive ones) number of FA`s - NIL number of reported calls from install that year that were not user error - 3 (two yend 21`s and a deltabell rear tamper).
