Client Management And Scheduling Software

Featured Replies

Hi,

We are company who install CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Door Automation, Access systems and Intercoms.

We are looking for a simple software, possibly free or open source, for inputting the details of the client, (address etc) as well as the equipment sold and installed. We would also like the software to have the functionality to schedule maintenance calls and what was done during the maintenance call etc.

Anybody has any ideas what we can use?

Thanks

Ian

I don't know of anything free but alarm master and cash seem to be popular

I'm not sure why anyone would put that much work and effort into producing a database which brings valuable benefits to any company at no cost. Not a great business model really..

There is some open source stuff out there. Looked at it before, but the time needed to adjust it for this industry would offset the cost of basic AM or Cash.

Often though new companies are time rich but cash poor. As the business grows that reverses

I am not looking at no cost, but reasonable cost. Am has too many functions which we will not use and so not worth investing in it.

Not a UK installer, as I said on another channel AM will be cheaper in the long run
