October 6, 201213 yr comment_291627 String, door..and slamming it. As for the runs, with the size of the building,. Fair enough but two Power RIO`s ? You mention a "fes SAB`s". Run one as SAB the rest as SCB and you can save on one RIO at least. Use the manufacture calcs for what your using or give us a list of the items being used, Several of us have a excel doc we can work from and tell you what you need and battery sizes too. PS, thats £29800.00 plus you see the dental nurse after Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33480-largish-alarm-system-component-install-order/page/2/#findComment-291627 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 October 7, 201213 yr Author comment_291752 Yeah, I see what you mean. I guess I got a bit carried away with the power bit (!), one powered and one unpowered would do it. There's 2 SABs (but as you say one could be SCB although I don't like the idea of this), one int. siren, 10 smokes, 8 contacts, couple of panics, 6 PIRs and a GSM module, er I think that's it. Of course not all those draw current it's just for the zones, I guess putting some smokes on the same zone would save space but... While I'm asking, what would you do with rooms that have bars on the windows? PIR and contact, just a PIR, or nothing at all? Could you do a cash discount and throw in another nurse? October 8, 201213 yr comment_291761 In my experience a "Barred or Grilled" window will be attacked if they think something is worth nicking. I will not go into how you can bypass the metals. But a pir would still be needed. As for cash, yes please Also the nurse is still dressed to kill and I am not giving her up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! October 8, 201213 yr Author comment_291768 There's a fair few grand in implantology equipment, however the bars are not on the window frames, they are cemented into the wall above and below the windows. PIR sound about right in this case? Also the nurse is still dressed to kill and I am not giving her up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything has a price, although she does sound like she could be a bit expensive...
