Oxo Posted September 8, 2012 Share Posted September 8, 2012 Law on noise abatment gives you a limit on rearms- unless its in the middle of nowhere. Strobe now is timed IIRC. (Your saying that as it dafaults at 3 ) 15 minutes right? Does this mean I can have 3 rearms with a 5 minute bell Yes, if to adhere strictly to noise laws. I used to live in a house with a secure it all alarm, but it had an Armour Flash bell box (I think) with a red/orange strobe... IMO never leave the strobe flashing (lets the world know you have gone on holiday) IMO about 3-5 re-arms is enough, if the re-arm counter gets to 3 while your away there's something wrong. But if you can afford it get a Rapier 6000, stainless steel rectangular roughly £110. The whole generic rectangle blue and white bell boxes are boring Thanks for the info guys!
