samauty
Ok all the links are back in and I ve put a link between the SAB terminals T and A (you were right ). The alarm is still not unlocking after power up. After 'user reset' following putting the panel back on, the 'tool' LED is flashing and the "SOS' LED is on permanently. Any thoughts? Cheeers ! samauty
No, the PIR's are still connected as are the door contacts on the relevant zones Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33362-honeywell-optima-compact-fault/page/2/#findComment-289362 Share on other sites
james.wilson
dis everything from the tamper circuits. Even with a link if you have a positive voltage into those connections it will cause a tamp fault even with a link securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. samauty
Ah no, nothing other than the links are connected on the tamper circuits. The PIRs and contacts are only connected to the zones (i.e zone 1 + 2 contacts), (3+4 for PIRs + supply power). All the other zones (5-8) are linked out. Could there still be a voltage issue? Oxo
TRY IT LIKE THIS, TAKE EVERYTHING OUT. E V E R Y T H I N G CONNECT ONLY O N L Y THE KEYPAD YOU ARE TRYING TO PROVE THE PANEL, SO IT NEEDS EVERYTHING DISCONNECTED. PUT THE KEYPAD ON A SHORT FLYLEAD, THAT YOU KNOW IS NOT DAMAGED. Do you think I said this twice before because I have nothing better to do?? james.wilson
it does sound like the board may be goosed but as oxo say its best to try with everything dissed. If its an optima then also drop the keypads and just see if it works with nowt connected. and all links in place. If it dont then its gone. But id be suprised they have a very low failure rate securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
