July 12, 201213 yr comment_285992 Neighbour's 17 year old Veritas panel feels overly warm, I'd expect some heat from the tranny but this seems to be along the lower width of the panel. Never touched a Veritas before so unsure if this is the norm. System working fine otherwise Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33162-veritas-panel-very-warm/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 12, 201213 yr comment_285993 When was the battery last changed? Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care. July 13, 201213 yr comment_286017 Replaced a few access systems recently-and batteries in them were all bulging and flucked (bats 10 yrs plus-one 1993),not defending any manufacturer in particular-but if they're not serviced regularly, by whoever, then it's going to have an adverse affect on the trannies etc and cause other probs. Waits with baited breath for 'Le Happy' to comment on 'trannies', lol Edited July 13, 201213 yr by Rulland Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33162-veritas-panel-very-warm/#findComment-286017 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 13, 201213 yr comment_286019 but modern wireless panels use nicad - lith ion etc. So will be less of a problem long term. By the way how are peeps testing these little batt packs? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
