May 3, 201214 yr comment_283855 Hi Folks, I have had the Ademco Accord system fitted for the past nine years, performed flawlessly until recently. There are five PIR sensors fitted and we isolate one of these on a daily basis as we now keep dogs in that particular room. Twice now in a couple of weeks the alarm has went off,and when i get to the keypad the Tamper light is lit,and the number corresponding to the PIR we isolate is flashing. When i enter our code both lights go out,and it resets normally. We get spiders in the bell unit outside triggering the tamper, but the tamper light stays lit when that happens. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thanks. May 3, 201214 yr comment_283860 sounds like you have an issue in the sensor, you may be able to adjust the tamper switch inside if it has a metal arm or a spring securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. May 3, 201214 yr Author comment_283895 They were out six weeks ago (bell unit seemed to be the problem) - had all the PIR's etc 'checked',which was actually just a walk round triggering them one at a time to make sure they work. I might see about getting someone else to service it this time. May 4, 201214 yr comment_283938 Scarey thought how strong those spideys must be to physically lift yoir bell box off the wall. Even more worrying if they are using a screwdriver to remove the front!
