Replace Wired System

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Need some help for a replacement system!

Just moved house and I’m looking to replace my existing wired system, I need to extend the security with vibration/glass break sensors and additional PIR’s on the 1st floor (Accessible from the flat roof).

I would like to be able to set a perimeter alarm during the night (Ground floor, vibration/glass break sensors..) As it going to be difficult to run wires I’m looking at a hybrid system.

The system would need to cover (wired)

2 door sensors

1 key pad

10 PIR’s

Speech and text dialler

Wireless component

1 key pad

10 Vibration/Glass break sensors

Any recommendation on a panel would be useful?

Thanks

Bhavesh

A fair few devices so a decent system is required, more expensive and as such why lower the spec by going down the dialler route?.

if your doing it diy id look at the texecom premier. Its popular with diy with execellent manuals

what do you suggest instead of the Dialler?

anything. a dialler is barely better than a bell.

Galaxy 2/44 should do the job

Thanks for the advice...I'll take a look at both and may have to come back for some more advice
