Unfortunately

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

it is and imo we need to adapt to it. some gear isnt upto it and gives wireless a bad rep generally. but wifi or 'wireless broadband' has changed the public perception. we need to stop being cheapscates and use kit that is reliable. ie ditch one way wireless once and for all. I think texecoms way leads here but i do have concerns on small mesh networks with what i know about wifi mesh. But its only a battery life concern.

I havent tried texe wireless yet but have done many menvier hybrids and scanny ion. From what im told scanny has the most reliable and longest distance

of any of the radio kits.Apparently most of the makes tested on a beach somewhere and scanny was best with free air distance of 4.2 kilometres.

having said that there is a lot to be desired of this panel!

menvier with ir nodes my prefered option.they are brilliant
