We've just purchased a contorl room trailer (20 foot x 8 x 8) to convert into an event cctv / control room.

Its being stored at a farm unit at the moment, as we have no room.

Need to protect it with an alarm, one that will signal via sms, as its going to be lonely.

Power isnt an issue, the farm building where its stored provide power hook ups, so its got mains 24 hours.

Any suggestions gents - Im cctv by trade, haven't done alarms yet, so am in the hands of you lot !.

I'm suggesting an accenta or something similar, we dont have accounts with gardiner, so it will need to be a panel that joe bloggs can get hold of.

Door contacts (probs patio contacts) on the 3 doors, and 2 pirs sound about right (and external bell box) ??.

Visonic powermax with the mobile gsm dialer fairly simple for a beginer it comes pre programmed so you just have to program the telephone numbers it has to call

I have a feeling having originally suggested a mini accenta, its been ordered already. Bugger. I will find out when someone returns to the office !.

If he has gone and got one, is there any gsm dialler I can sit neatly in the panel ?

yeah look at the cooper / menvier sd3, the cqr one or the gjd cheapo one.

If you do use the accenta it has comms outputs for this so you can send multiple signals

NO room in the mini for a dialer, Barely room for the cables!

Can't think of anything but high end panels where you could fit a dialler inside. Just mount it next to the panel. But agreed any small panel will have limited internal space

Pyronix V2 GSM can be used as a standalone alarm. Small in size and very flexible, also has outputs which you can switch on by SMS, would be good to switch things on and off remotely like heating etc.

The cqr one also has text controlled outputs. What's the pyronix one like?

I'd avoid PIR's in an oven/freezer like the one you mention
