Texecom Programming For Dummies

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Finding it very difficult/impossible to 'get my head round' the baffling task of PROGRAMMING the system.

All detectors are correctly connected and working - 5 PIRs, 2 Fire & 1 Break-Glass Detector.

Also the Text/Speech Dialler.

Problem is -

I find the Premier 24 Manuals' 'Instructions' are too 'high level' and seem to assume readers will have prerequisite knowledge.

Is there anyone out there who'd undertake giving me a start or otherwise recommend some introductory programming literature towards

getting my system Operational.

Many thanks

Cannot be too difficult, they are sold in most CEF's

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

It may be simpler for you to use Wintex rather than programming via the keypad, i assume you have a laptop, get yourself a USB Com and download Wintex from our website, you will need to register first as an Installer, private individuals will not gain access, however you can buy Wintex on the web, just Google it.

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer, we may be able to help with certain specifics of the programming, but the Premier is a complex flexible panel and can be configured multiple ways. Best thing to do is have a go and then let us know what exact problems you are having.

And your attitude in your 2nd post probably isnt the best way to get any help

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

Friends & Fellow-Sufferers!

Since I composed this Post I got tore into it wit a vengance and, after much head-scratching, trial&error and some patience, can fairly claim to now have a good working knowledge of all I need to know about setting up the Premier 24.

So, even if I say so myself, Not Bad For An Old Codger of Seventy - Eh?

If I knew how to do it I'd annotate this Post Closed :
