The Powermax doesn't look great to me. I am likely to go for the Honeywell G2, I've got 2 other Honeywell wired only systems in other buildings and never seem to have any issues with them.

Anyone got positive or negative comments on the G2?

Powermax isn't hybrid though only has 2 hard wired inputs.

Cant got wrong with a G2 if its a standard domestic imo. Only problem we find is if you want something out of the ordinary with outputs/settings etc. We would tend to fit a bigger Galaxy, or Trexe Premier then

It's not but still an ok panel, i just think they have been over taken now by others, and development seems slow or non existant

Would the Texe Premier 24 + Texe Ricochet Premier 8XP-W be a better option?

Yes and no. Prem 48 yes

But the mesh based rf is the best in theory, the bigger the system the better with mesh
