alterEGO
Lazy fooker, drill what you need. Use penny washers to make up the stand off. Quiclk tip: Drill as needed offer panel up as template. Drill plug ect. Use super glue to hold washers in palce on back of panel when mounting. I normally use small off cut of alli tube or conduit if i need extra fixings. The holes look to be in place on this one, just not the stand off. Thats one issue i have with premiers, cable entry is a pain as they are all in the centre under PCB, so on takeovers you often have a problem. Also the knock outs are sh!te, you need a lump hammer to get them out. It doesn't seem that oversized, then again i was using the full size Risco end stations not that long ago, always liked the panel lid on those. Guest Oxo
Have to agree with stubborn knockouts. Always have a 20mm holesaw and open grommets. Absoloutely needed on t/o`s. Try it on a prem, almost no where to drill. We have one site with the panel on its side and bat zipped in place. Lol, we have loads like that. Always leave spare cable ties in the panel for the next battery change. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! alterEGO
At the least they could weld a bit of steel in place to hold bats if installed on side, however i would rather a row of side cable entry points. AdrianMealing
Problem with knockouts in the side of a premier case is, the side of the case is part of the lid, if you put cables through it how would you get the lid off, without the risk of damaging cables? Take your point an batteries and zip tie points, and i agree the knockouts are a cow to get out amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30539-i-on-160/page/3/#findComment-265124 Share on other sites
