May 3, 200917 yr comment_235965 it sounds like then that they/whoever has wired the dialler so that it will disconnect all other devices when in use. However it is impossble to filter dsl out at the dialler this way, because if you do it will filter the dsl signal at source so it wont be available. Only way is to rewire it but this has other implications. As i have said before the correct way is a dedicated line for the alarm securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. November 3, 201015 yr comment_256673 bear in mind that if you are going to fit a standard adsl filter, you need to know what wires to use in the filter. at the moment, there is only one dedicated alarm adsl filter on the market for uk alarms, the rest are your run of the mill phone filters older redcares used to be, until they brougfht out the modem compatability interface, and that also let you on to fax and card reader lines as well:) Edited November 3, 201015 yr by Taco Every day is a school day Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/28438-alarm-monitoring-and-broadband/page/2/#findComment-256673 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
