Im new to this forum and have noticed there a lot of trade people on here. For one my dad being the service engineer (sp). How long does it take for a trainee to become qualified if someone can help.

Nice to see the forum going well and all the best to you ;)

Howdy,

Welcome to the forum's.

You'll like it here, full of topic and opinion (some of it heated), but all friendly and in good intent.

LEE.. i'd get a proper job if i were you, before you know it you will be walking around city centres looking up at bellbox's walking into shops muttering to yourself

'that passive's in the wrong place etc' telling the wife what sort of panel is installed when the shop door chimes etc(or is it just me  ) and worst of all, spending all your spare time posting on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

It's not just you Gaz, I do it to

My better half is past caring now as her brother works for us to

she is quite used to me saying to her "Look where they've put that keypad"

or muttering about panels and detectors not being level

It comes with the job I suppose :D
