Im needing to be recommended a Radio fire alarm. Its for a domestic barn type house thats finished and fire alarm has now been required.

Only need 6 smokies and a heat detector on system.

When you say "required".... has someone (presumably an insurer) actually specified a level of protection - eg 5839 pt 6 LD2 etc etc ???

No chance of wiring into mains, has to be radio. On specification only home owner requirements.

AICO do wireless interconnected with 10yr Li-ion batteries in them IIRC.

maybe EMS? we use them and they stand up ok!

If cost is an issue try the wisdom control panel with wireless smoke, heat, gas and c02 detectors with 3yr battery life. Its not a true fire alarm but you can add upto 32 wireless devices, also intruder devices so its 2 n 1

But they cost a small fortune and are bloody ugly ... personally I wouldn't one of their detector/sounders in my front room.......!!
