I am on tomorrow, new years eve and will answer the phones 24hrs a day all over xmas. For no extra pay at all.

Just finished my week on call last Friday morning.

But back on call Xmas Eve & Boxing day, back at work Thursday & Friday, and back on call New Years Day.... :(

i agree with andy its all very well mrs smith calling out an engineer at 2 am because her smoke alarm battery is about to die but customers think you are paid

If she has no contract with us, my answer will be get yellow page's out and start ringing round because we arnt coming out.

ah yes but if you are a engineer on call for a tinpot company with no contract data base how do you if she /is not on contract
