yep worst case is you have the polarity the wrong way round and it only rings to let you know the alarm has reset lol any spare cables just cut the very ends off bend em back and wrap tape round them , or put them into a chock block etc

what are you planning to send via the dialler obviously alarm and panic , maybe fire .................. ?

connected it up as you advise all works great on kitchen table just have the job of nailing it to the wall now

(just 1 tip if anybody else looks at this post after the dialer rings you press 5 to acknowlage the call or the default settings in the dialer will make it keep ringing you back)

may post again re help connecting the smoke detector and the internal bell box after i disconect them from the A.D.T system.

OP is the output, ST1 is a trigger input
