many manufactures include awful brackets in their low end detectors. Have a look at the higher end that dont. All proper gear does not include a 'bracket'

im assuming you have the cable the wrong side of the coving and think you need a ceiling bracket? i can say ive only used them in 20 yrs of install 20 times tops and never for that reason
