Or do you do a trade with him? He does your routers, you clean his windows?

Considering your margins are already thin to non existent, that £25 is quite a chunk for what is a few minutes work.

Recently had a problem on a site where remote viewing suddenly failed. Site visit immediately showed up the problem.Talk talk had been in and fitted a new router. Yep, changed to different lan address and failed to setup the ports. Even lady of the house said he appeared clueless.

And Considering the op appears to be targeting the domestic market I suspect the homeowner already owns a router.

I know of at least one NVR that can work the way the OP mentions, but i'd say it's outside his price band.

There isn't going to be one. The port forwarding/rules etc is a necessity due to the router doing its job.
