is having one of your posts removed by a moderator then not being informed why it was removed.
Poor show imo.
I have had it in the past, boils my piss.

Agreed, does sound daft, if you design or install you need the insurance.

They used to get me to do a breakdown, took me fooking ages first year, then set accounting software up to make it easier, but still needed some time i didnt have to add it all up.
Summer is my busy period, renewal due 1st sept, so i ****** it off, if you dont give it them, they will still renew.
There is a tierd structure, so unless your turnover has shot up, tell to **** off and pay your normal rate, although mine went up 25 quid this year, but as i am always late renewing, i just went with it.

Yup same here with a massive drill bit.
Finding cavities bridged at the top a lot now though, (houses approx 2000 onwards?) with thick cement laid onto a plastic former.
That said if you're expecting it, one of the benefits of a long drill, just keep on going...
Cavities were always supposed to be closed, capped off, but most builders didnt. Cavities now are generally not closed to remove the thermal bridge, but the insulation in the cavity carries on up through the loft in one continuous sheet for want of a better word. Should be no gaps.
As Rich says, all common sense.

More difficult to handle up a ladder though...
I always use metre drill bit for bell cable, up a ladder, obviously you have to stand a rung or 2 down but i reckon its piss easy.

Hi All,
I wondering if you can help me? I don't want to offend or disrespect anyone so I'll be completely honest - I'm tasked with researching a new system for a mainstream manufacturer. We've not made a new system for a while and I'm looking to get some feedback before we kick off the design.
I was hoping you guys could post your pet hates, favourite features, most often installed systems here for me? Also how many zones does the average system you fit have - at G2 or G3. Basically, I'm trying to get my superiors to listen to the "voice of the customer" before going off and designing something new because we think it's great, without checking what you think is great...
Sorry I can't tell you more than that - however I do promise that in a year or so, when it's released, I'll come back and tell you what you contributed to...
If this is not a good thing to ask then please just tell me and I'll leave you alone!
Thanks in advance
