fitted one mate, around sept 2014, fooking sack of **** is still giving me grief, never again.Lol I actually love the agility 3 camera kit and the Vupoint stuff
Which reminds me to phone the fookers up, batteries lasting 6 months in some detectors.
Binned along with enforcer kack.

I go through everything on take over.
Hate the dots, documented as Goncall is enough as far as i am concerned. Dots and stickers looks a mess.
I dont provide zonal plan, if there isnt one, but client is informed they need one, if they say yes then obviously i'll sort it.
Can't say ive marked up any plans of an existing system, although a few have itemised device/zone list where there is no zonal plan.

Agility 3 kit included, thats knocked the price down to £300.

Jef is gonna smash your face in for that statement.Hmm is that not what the manufacturers tech support is for? Engineers shouldnt be wasting managers time with technical questions, tech support is free. If there is a problem with getting hold of TS then call another engineer.

Just think its fair to point out kit that actually works, these forums are being filled with issues relating to the so called main players who are fobbing us off with 2nd rate tat.

I'll vouch for the hd kit in the links above.

#2 is by the far most commonest way of doing it, ditching tamper is piss poor.

If back peddling was an olympic sport, you'd have a gold medal round your neck.

Normally a bunch of flowers.

But andy has his ladders on a car, i'd say the most popular job with ladders on car is the vision technician.

Ok James. We must work in the same area?

never had this problem before. We took over a shopping centre where a large cat5 was run to a jb then a single cat5 to each camera.
Agreed, ive installed cat5 (always use cat5) with it branching wherever i need it to.
Never used active baluns and ive got runs getting up to 1km.

Been sent down.

I was thinking of AS's point on replacing **** locks, i agree the client probably would be grateful of the advice/service, but im sure as fook do it for a fiver.
Monitored Alarm No Longer Near A Phone Socket
in Guest Forum

You can't use a wireless extender as the phone line is monitored, the extender might be able to provide 50v at the panel, but what if the actual telephone line goes down??, it won't be monitored.
Virgin and bt will always put the master socket where it is easiest for them. There all tw@ts, just like sky and all the others.
At first, i agreed with norman, but then also not sure why they want to puta new 'box' in and charge 1000. They could run a new cable to the master socket and bill you for that. Might be a case of having your pants down.
Telecoms chap is probably the way to go, although i'd of fooked off the virgin engineer andtold them were to shove it.
