  1. I certainly would consider change the control panel battery if it was installed in 2011

Is there any moisture issues located round where the patio sensor is located (Could any moisture be tracking through onto the pcb?)

You could just have a sensor that has developed a fault!

May be worth replacing that one sensor if all other sensors are issue free?

  2. I would certainly try linking out the keypad tamper at the panel end... and would also consider a full default

They still do offer tech support. I called them recently as had two accentas at one address on a bells only system (One in house & the other in the garage)

The customer called me to say on both units the  power LEDS were flashing.

After inspecting them the units had a stable mains supply to them, the output from the panel transformer was within tolerances. The battery's were both a year old (Changed on the last service) also tested fine with my ACT battery meter.

Tech support couldn't offer me an explanation, the only thing I could conclude that there had been a mains surge.

The daft thing is after extensive testing both systems are fully working but the mains led's continue to flash.

  3. As a suggestion:-

    Go into engineer mode,

Open endstation (*warning mains voltages are present only enter it if you feel you have the necessary competence)

    Replace your battery

    close endstation panel lid

    Come out of engineer mode

Allow 24hours to ensure battery has a decent charge in it before attempting the consumer unit swap out. (the battery you purchase may not have a full charge in it)

If that fails the battery fuse in the panel may of blown.

    Hope this helps

  4. Probably the best solution is to swap out the panel

But if you don't want to go down that route as a suggestion (If you think you are electrically competent) in the panel, you could remove the strobe negative from its connector & connect it to the bell trigger -

That way if your alarm triggers at least you should have a sounding siren & flashing strobe (Obviously this will be timed & will switch off with the siren but at least your strobe would trigger in an alarm activation)
