  1. There is an argument that the programming remains intellectual property of the installing company.

You own the equipment only, and most companies will charge for attendance, this will be more expensive outside of contract as you have now found.

Nothing like your car analogy BTW.

  2. Lol, used to like my trips to ARCO when I worked in t'Hull.

Guy in the office used to kick the arse out of the sex chat lines and put it on his card as ARCO, his Mrs worked for HSBC and rumbled him eventually.

I tried to buy Dr Martens from ARCO recently and was told they dont stock them any more? Ended up with ARCO's own brand alternative, which are *****, already falling apart and all I do these days is walk the dog.

And who the fuck are you?

oftend get checked to see if there are safety footwear

Yeah, I bought some when the guys were going into rubberised tank rooms, same sites (all in London) wouldn't allow riggers or wellies.

Windows 10 is so easy to create a back door access from boot level, you can get in within 5 minutes regardless of logon password or fingerprint and access pretty much anything you want, I’ve done it many times.

Ah, OK, thanks for the explanation.

How can it be insecure if access is controlled by smart card,

When people forget to remove the card, or become complacent and leave it in the reader/keyboard.

Excuse my ignorance I'm not up on this, but why do you need 2 level authority? I use my fingerprint and a pin for my laptop, wouldn't that be enough?
