Hi

The Bloke who installed the alarm in my new house will not give me the Engineers code,as he fitted the alarms in the rest of the street!

I would like to reset my Veritas 8 to factory settings. So I can install a code.

Sorry, defaulting information will not be given out in public forums.

If you pay him for a callout, I'm sure he will reset your engineer code and void any maintenance/warranty on your system.

Why should he give you his engineer code and compromise the security of all his systems?

Why should he give his time/wear and tear to vehicle/various insurances/not to mention probably years of experience/etc/etc, to you for nothing?

Why will someone not tell me ho to reset the alarm using my #### code to factory settings?

Calm down and think about your question, the code will not be issued by the installing company for the reasons Brian mentioned, here is a user manual.

Posting panel defaulting information in a public forum poses a security risk to anyone with the same panel. Surely you can understand that?

I already have the PDF file "user guide" I Wish to reset the entire system back to factory setting.

With codes 1234 and 5678.

This has all started because one of the Keypads in the system being loose on the wall! When i remove the pannel frount the alarm sounds (tamper).
