Chris Teague
all ive got to say on the matter is"Hello Engineer!!!!" Oh man, don't get me started on keypad banners / messages: - I used to work for a firm where it was considered fun to keep changing banners with little messages until one of the lads went too far & had "a&*e Alarms" on one Anyway, it could be worse, Scanny 8136 & "load defaults" is all I want to say. Do you want to load defaults? press menu for no, loading defaults anyway, Doh! Arrrrhhhhhhhh. That "Bing Bong" Woowa Woowa Woowa sound still gives me nightmares. morph
If you are trade Gardiner Security and again if you are trade apply for this forums trade memebership and you will access to 1000+ manuals including DA. You can also try Bosch Security Systems european site. I also agree that the Abacus range are excellent, fitted loads over the years, but I still prefer the Liquid "Stella" Colin. Guest Mickie D
But if your not trade (judging by your previose posts I guess your not) you could always try ebay, or take it out and fit a nice diy panel. Pete 37184 i have my own company its been going for over 2 years now... we never really touched alarms (thats why i am judged by my previous post's) we have more than 40 happy custormers and maintain 20 properties in and around london (mainly north london) but i have got an date for my micro tech begineer and advanced day course in 2 weeks time, and texecom have allowed me access to their trade sections so maybe when i have a bit more experiance then i could gain access... and one alst point is i wont ever gain enough experiance if i dont have the installation manuals to install any alarms Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4794-abacus-da/page/2/#findComment-37186 Share on other sites

Guest Mickie D
Texecom allow anyone to be trade, I was a registered Texecom trade installer while I was still at school. 37189 that must have been 2-3 years back and they have gone up in the world maybe ? You can be trade without being a trade member on this site. Thousands of people are trade and haven't heard of this site. 37189 are you saying im not worthy of being trade lol, i expect this of you lurchy... well of course your standards are better than mine because you have 800 posts and been doing it longer.... this means you are far better installer than me there is a guy round my road who has been doing electrics for over 30 years... i would not let this fooker near my gameboy let alone house. so you need 10 years experiance and lurchys aproval before you can be trade lol.... well thats me fooked then guess i will have to buy the manuals from ebay.... shame though the guy wants 20 quid for any alarm install manual - maybe he gives you the thousands you get here ?
