right i looked at this alarm i took out last week and found it saying

abacus on one of the stickers on the chips and also found it said DA (i think) Security

anyone know what alarm this is and it was installed by clarion ?

Yup, we too still have a few out there, not too bad a panel, but way over priced compared to some of the kit now available.

Abacus are OK, that's why I suggested not putting it in the bin. I look after a few with no problems springing to mind.
