Challenger security products Excel8 (AP200) - New Old Stock

Recommended Posts

I bought my panel back in 1998ish. I installed all the cabling, but never got around to installing the alarm panel. I'm now preparing to finish the job!

I've been in touch with Challenger who were no help what so ever 😞 they're saying its obsolete, so can't (wont) help.

I'd like to fit a remote keypad to the main panel. What was the original part number for this keypad please? And.. are there any alternatives I can use please?

Secondly, I'm assuming I can fit any PIR with the same termination (12 volt power, Tamper, Relay contact)?

Thanks in advance for any useful help 🙂

Imagine my surprise at calling my local Ford dealer to find they have no body part in stock for a 1998 Ford Escort,

In fact the before he laughed his cock off the the cheeky twit in the parts department started asking if I owned a Deloran & asked me to set the flux capacitor to August 2000....
