Texecom Premier Elite 24 Plastic Tamper Screw

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm currently installing a Texecom Premier Elite 24 - metal version. In the box there is a bag with the tamper screw, metal clip and a small piece of plastic. I can't find any information about what the metal clip and plastic are used for. I assume the metal clip is a spare for the one already fitted on the cover. Can anyone offer any advice on what the small piece of plastic is used for?

Thanks in advance!

IMHO pointless & I just chuck 'em out

I see some logic with the Poly cab, having the main terminal block close to the intruder wires.

Rarely see them used, I don't think a lot of engineers know what it's for TBH.
