I wouldn't if you can avoid it, inertia things with 1/2AA batteries they're expensive for what they are too.

In practice it's the right idea to go perimeter, just unfortunate the kit your working with.

Are the Visonic one's classed as cheap?

So as said they sleep,  that might also throw you, if you testing the exit zone for alarm when it was already triggered or asleep

yes I have just looked at it I think is on the panel event counter (event counter: Here you determine whether an alarm will be activated upon continued motion (low sensitivity) or upon a single alarm event (high sensitivity).. Optional settings: LOW sensitive (default) and HIGH sensitive.) is this correct as their is noting on the PIR itself
