gazza_2 Posted April 7, 2020 Share Posted April 7, 2020 Hi i am currently replacing my old alarm with a Visonic wireless system but after fitting some of the pet PIR's I am finding they are not very sensitive at all, they do work and I have moved them down the wall a bit but they still don't seem that good. sixwheeledbeast Posted April 7, 2020 Share Posted April 7, 2020 You can lower the pulse count but you'll loose the pet friendly mode. Yes they are one way, so also sleep for a few minutes in normal operation mode. It's one way and pet friendly I wouldn't expect much guaranteed protection from it. I think so yes, acceptable but low end. A decent hard wired pet tolerant sensor is more than a wireless visonic one. But i dont like them as a theory.
