Scantronic 9600

Hello,

I came across a Scantronic 9600 System today, they are a bit before my time.

When performing the procedure of defaulting the Engineer code due to the age the IC8 chip it was brittle and damaged.

On the chip were 2 lines as follows

93CS66B1

92A422

My question is, is it as simple as getting a new chip and popping in then setting up again or is there more to it?

Also found a similar post and this was recommended for the replacement chip, would this work?:

Thanks in advance!

-Thomas

I know, it’s just to get it running before an upgrade is proposed.

Just to confirm, the chip linked below will work and is just plug in and play?

Thanks again
