I recently found that the keypad on my Optima XM alarm was not working. I have changed the battery and managed to get it working. After doing this I decided to do a walk test to confirm that everything was working. Everything is working except zone 4 which has a PIR on the landing and a PIR in the kitchen. The PIR's both flash when I walk past but do not trigger the alarm.
All connections appear to be OK
The system was installed by builder 20 years ago and has worked well throughout (2 new batteries)
Is it likely to be a faulty PIR?
How do I find out which one?
Thanks

James, I assume that it has always worked since they flashed has I walked past them and the system armed etc.

I've not done a walk through test until today.

Ok id say they have never worked then.

I have disconnected the landing sensor in the box and the kitchen now works.

I now have the following

Zone 1 - Front door contact sensor

Zone 2 - PIR

Zone 3 - PIR

Zone 4 - PIR

Zone 5 - 3 doors with contact sensors

Zone 6 - PIR

Unused PIR on landing

Do I have any options for landing PIR?
