Simple 2 x contact alarm

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for a simple alarm system that just has two contact sensors for door / window, no desire to have PIR.  I can't find any kit that offers this, and I wouldn't know what products to buy to build it my self.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for the input folks.

Wired would be the preference.

From what I can see I would need a few other things to get the Bentley working, a keypad, siren, battery backup, is that correct?

The Optima appears to have more included, am I right in thinking it has battery backup?  What about a siren, is that inside the unit as well as having the option for external?

Please forgive my ignorance on this topic!

Regards

Sorry I got the idea this was a battery powered alarm for a shed or similar, the Bentley is very basic and probably not for you if not.

The Optima is very simple and I assume has a built in speaker, i.e a low volume sounder, and yes it has space for battery backup.

I would still recommend an external siren such as the AG6
