I wouldn't use it as a dummy, I would bin it and get a dummy one the same as what your going to use as you live WD. 

I must have missed that but, yes for god sakes using that as a dummy will only increase your chances of being burgled, as any burglar with half a brain will realise

that box would be part of a system that would have long stopped being used or working...

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
