Thats a matter of opinion, value for money doesnt always mean cheap. I am happy to pay £3.00 for a decent latte, but a begrudge paying £1.00 for a cup of instant with UHT milk.

Check the batteries in your smoke detectors, check your drawers and cupboard close to the alarm panel for smoke detectors with low batteries

Sheesh!

Oh yes.

Carlos, check for any devices (usually smokes) that may be reporting low battery, I've also had phone handsets being mistaken for the alarm.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

As above its probably another device nothing to do with the intruder alarm

Guys, again, there are no smoke detectors connected to the intruder alarm.

I shall do a run on all PIR and door sensors.

Cheers.

Carlos, again you have missed the point, they won't be connected, they will be independent and have a low battery.

Ok, sorry.

But the smoke detectors on the property are hardwired on a Bi-Wire installation.

They do not use batteries of any kind.

Thanks.

Hi Norman.

The chirp sound is coming from the intruder alarm panel, not from the smoke detector!

"Why do smoke alarms chirp intermittently?"

I apologise if I am still missing the point.

Cheers.
